Chris Korda returns on Perlon with a thought provoking record

Having released her last EP on Perlon back in September Chris Korda returns with another leftfield release. ‘Apologize to the Future’ is a collection of tracks that address the ‘pivotal issues of the 21st century: climate change, economic inequality, intergenerational injustice, anti-natalism, the singularity, and human extinction’ and as we know these are many.

As with her previous outing on Perlon Korda’s musical output is written in complex polymeter and utilises varying time signatures and her pioneering use of this art form in the 90’s allowed her to develop his techniques that also led to devise her very own production software.

Featuring vocals sang by a robotic choir the album consists of electro-rap, techno and elements of jazz that combine to tell the sorry tale of a planet that future generations will inherit – should the human race survive the current worldwide travesties. As with all of Korda’s work the music is as thought-provoking as it is forward-thinking and you can expect the forthcoming music video’s to be equally compelling.
