Chris Korda is not allowed to play
Lowlands Festival in Holland is crazy.
It's hard to believe. The cute Church of Euthanasia Reverend Chris Korda was fired from the Lowlands Festival, one of the traditional open-air festivals for electronic and other music in Holland, after he had been booked. The reason given was: we knew nothing about his ideas and just liked his music.
The video of the collapse of the Twin Towers mixed with pornographic images for the track "I Like To Watch", which also got Chris Korda into some trouble at his last performance in Hamburg and which ultimately caused him to move from Boston to the more peaceful Berlin, because we can certainly handle a little media criticism here, was probably the deciding factor again.
Presumably the organizers simply got a lot of reactions after the first article about Chris Korda in the Groningerdagblad that they didn't like (although press is actually always good) and now, in their initial shock, they have withdrawn the performance.
And the Dagblad already had its second report. Perhaps Holland's choice of the right is already paying off. Well, Hell had already found the video too scandalous and had put his collaboration with Chris on ice. But luckily the track and the video are available on his website.
