Always trouble with Chrissy

"I Like To Watch" remixes with problems.

Chris Korda wanted to release his "I Like To Watch" with 4 remixes on Hannos Hinkelbein's Null Records on time and with a full cover for the anniversary of 9/11. And it was already clear beforehand that the moral prudishness everywhere would make the project a problem.

And that's how it was. First there was trouble with the cover. It was printed, but the Factory refused to put the records in it. And if they had seen it beforehand, the printing wouldn't have happened, rumor has it. Oh well. Korda and Hinkelbein would have found someone to put a few vinyls in a few snazzy covers, but then...

...the pressing plant contacted us and said they had found a sample which meant they couldn't press the record. This certainly didn't bother them during the test pressings. But we still hope that the test pressings with mixes by Dave, Richard Bartz, Chris Korda and a terror orchestra won't become individual collector's items and that we can finally welcome the remixes of Chris Korda's masterpiece on September 11th.

Meanwhile, Chris Korda, who for reasons closely related to this track had to telecommute to Berlin for a year, is saying goodbye tomorrow and is moving back to Boston for a while. Another exile in Berlin is also leaving us: Jeremy Caulfield from Dumb Unit is also leaving his home in the Weinmeister tomorrow. Take care, both of you. :)
